Magic starting point guard Jameer Nelson has been diagnosed with a mild concussion and will undergo further testing today in Orlando.

Nelson did not play in Saturday night's intrasquad game after receiving nine stitches over his right eye on Friday after a collision with Dwight Howard.

"We had to check him out here, and we'll check out Jameer when we get home," Coach Brian Hill said.

Howard, who received six stitches over his left eye, played in the intrasquad game.

Nelson is questionable for the Magic's opening exhibition game Tuesday night in Charlotte, N.C.
