Golden State coach Don Nelson announced a plan last week to rest his veterans in favor of the team's younger players, which has caught serious criticism.

He's already held out Jamal Crawford and Stephen Jackson, with the Warriors losing both games.

"You're tempted to feel like people are giving up on us or whatever, but anything can happen in this league," Kelenna Azubuike said last week. "Hopefully I'm one of those guys who he feels should play."

The plan itself isn't controversial, but to implement it with more than twenty games left in the regular season is.

"I don't know if it's a good thing to announce it in advance. You'll see it when you watch our games," Nelson said.
