Billy Hunter continued to insist that the NBA owners have wanted to implement a lockout to achieve the system they have sought for three years during his comments to the media following Thursday's talks.
"I've known from the get go that it was the NBA owners' plan to (lockout the players)," said Hunter.
"It is clearly my position, that it has been their plan all along."
Hunter also said that the players will not accept a 50-50 split of BRI until they know what the system will look like.
Dan Gilbert reportedly asked Hunter to trust him, which led him to ask "Why should I trust you?"
