The New York Knicks won't exercise their opt-out clause in Phil Jackson's contract. Both Jackson and the Knicks have an opt-out after the current season on the five-year, $60 million deal they signed in 2014.

"I'm going to honor it for the full agreement," said James Dolan.

Dolan also spoke about how Jackson continues to have full control of player personnel over the Knicks and he's continuing to not mettle in these issues.

Dolan denied giving Jackson the parameters to re-sign Carmelo Anthony in 2014 and to not hire Kurt Rambis as head coach.
