One is modest, the other flashy. One prefers to dazzle, the other to blend in. One has been nicknamed "Pro" by his teammates, the other is nationally known as "White Chocolate.''
Just trying finding two more opposite point guards than Minnesota's Terrell Brandon and Memphis' Jason Williams, who matched up again in the Timberwolves' 105-80 victory at The Pyramid on Thursday night.

"He puts on a show,'' said Brandon, who led the Wolves with 22 points and 10 assists. "My show is a little bit different -- you have to really critique my game to really appreciate it, more than a cross-over dribble or that type of thing. It's just a different decade (of point guards).''

Wolves forward Kevin Garnett calls the matchup a "quiet battle,'' a show sometimes forgotten amidst the other action on the court. Thursday night, however, Brandon set the tone early, looking for his offense a bit more than usual (10 points in the first quarter), and pressuring Williams full-court to try to take the play-making ability out of his hands. It worked. Williams scored the first two baskets of the game, but finished 5-for-15 shooting with three assists.
