The New York Post has learned that Knicks forward Kurt Thomas played the final three months of this season with a dislocated right pinkie on his right hand.

Thomas and his agent Jerry Hicks will get another opinion on the pinkie before opting for surgery.

"It was pretty informative," Hicks said of yesterday's examination. "We saw that the problem was a joint dislocation. The doctor thinks surgery may be necessary, but we'll get one more opinion before we reach that conclusion."
