Knicks general manager Isiah Thomas has expressed interest in acquiring the Raptors? Vince Carter.  However it seems that the Knicks deep pockets will not help them obtain the Jumpman this time around.

As one Eastern Conference general manager who has inquired about Carter said yesterday, "From talking to them, I don't see them doing anything with Isiah. I don't know what New York has that would get that done. Isiah's willing to take on contracts, but he doesn't have anything to give back to them."

Unless the Raptors are willing to take Allan Houston in place of Carter, a deal between the two teams seems very unlikely.
