The NBA released the official order of the entire NBA draft today. Described first are the tiebreakers that were conducted in both the lottery and the rest of the 1st round.

Five ties among teams that finished the 2004-05 regular season with identical records were broken today through random drawings to help determine the order of selection for NBA Draft 2005, which will be held on Tuesday, June 28, at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The drawings were conducted live on NBA TV earlier today at the St. Regis Hotel in New York by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations.  

The results of the random drawings:
- New Orleans (18-64) won a tie-breaker with Charlotte
- Toronto (33-49) won a tie-breaker with New York
- Golden State (34-48) won a tie-breaker with the Los Angeles Lakers
- Boston (45-37) won a tie-breaker over Memphis and Washington; Memphis then won a tie-breaker with Washington
- San Antonio (59-23) won a tie-breaker with Miami

Also reported in the release are the official orders of the 2nd round, complete with the trades that changed the order of the teams picking in the 2nd round dramatically.
