While Isiah Thomas and Knicks personnel director Brendan Suhr embarked on a college scouting trip yesterday, Larry Brown said they are just as likely to package their pair of late first-round of picks in a trade for a young veteran on draft night.
A source said the Knicks will look to package the picks with Maurice Taylor, who'll be entering his contract's expiring year. Brown feels the Knicks have enough youngsters.
"We got seven young kids right now," Brown said. "There's a lot of things you can do with draft picks."
