The Cavaliers will officially offer LeBron James an extension, worth around $75 million, on July 1 and James can sign it any time between July 12 and Oct. 31.

The question of whether or not James would re-sign has always been based on how the club built around him and with Cleveland just one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals, he is almost surprised at the fast results.

``As good as we are now? I didn't think we could be this good this fast,'' James said. ``With eight new players, a whole new coaching staff, a whole new organization... I knew with the offseason acquisitions that we were going to be a good team. We've come a long way in the last year.''

According to those close to James, the support the organization has given to Larry Hughes and his family following the passing of Justin Hughes has given James even more reason to feel that Cleveland is the place to be.
