The Celtics waived undrafted free agents Kevin Pittsnogle and Akin Akingbala following today's practice in Waltham.
Pittsnogle appeared in three exhibition games for the Celtics, playing 11 minutes and scoring three points combined in his three outings. Akingbala appeared twice, once against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the opening preseason contest, where he scored three points in five minutes of action. He also played the final 17 seconds against the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
