While an official announcement from the company is expected to be made as early as this weekend, Chris Paul and the Jordan Brand have agreed on a six-year endorsement deal.

Paul originally signed a four-year contract with Nike worth approximately $600,000 a year shortly before becoming the fourth overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft.

The Jordan Brand is part of Nike, but it is unknown how much Paul's new contract with Jordan is worth.

The Jordan Brand is also endorsed by NBA players Carmelo Anthony, Ray Allen, Richard Hamilton, Michael Finley, Eddie Jones and Mike Bibby, MLB players Derek Jeter and Andruw Jones, NFL players Terrell Owens, Marvin Harrison and Warren Sapp, and boxer Roy Jones Jr.

"It's huge," Paul said of his deal with Jordan. "That's the best player to ever play the game. I think it's a tremendous honor to wear the shoe."
