Spurs' Assistant GM Dennis Lindsey has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Hawks' post, saying he is going to stick with San Antonio, the San Antonio Express-News is reporting.
Lindsey?s name had been on a short list of candidates to replace Hawks' GM Billy Knight, who resigned May 7 ? days after the Hawks were eliminated by the Celtics in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series.
?I decided to withdraw my name from the interview process,? Lindsey said before the Spurs played the Hornets in Game 7. ?It came down to family considerations and the fact I?m just very happy with the Spurs and in San Antonio.?
