Spurs coach Gregg Popovich doesn't believe that rookie guard George Hill is ready to be a contributor in the postseason.

"This playoff probably isn't for him," Popovich said before Monday's win over the Warriors.

Hill, the 26th overall pick in the 2008 draft, played an important role for the team when Tony Parker was injured earlier this season.

"He's working at the one guard, working at the two-three," Popovich said. "Playoffs is a time for people who feel very confident about what they're doing, and George isn't in that category yet. He needs more time."
