Celtics forward Paul Pierce has been playing a supporting role for the defending-champions against the Bulls in the postseason, a role he's fine with.

"If that's what's going to help us win, that's what I'll be," Pierce said. "If I have to go out there and get somebody else open and set more screens and it's going to be effective and help our ballclub win, that's what I'm going to do."

Pierce, unlike a number of Celtics, is healthy, but Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen have starred in the first two games of the series against Chicago.

"Other guys are stepping up for us," Pierce said. "That's what's big for us right now."
