The Knicks have put guard Nate Robinson into the starting lineup for Friday night's preseason game against the Nets.

Robinson isn't guaranteed to remain with the first unit.

"I'm going to try a different lineup," coach Mike D'Antoni told the New York Daily News. "I want different combinations. Sometimes to get to a combination you have to start a different way. We might start radically (against the Nets) to see if we get a different flow."

Robinson has started 59 of 282 regular-season games in his career.

The Knicks will be using their fourth different lineup in four preseason games.
