Through an intermediary, LeBron James has made his opinion about Tom Izzo known. James is "100 percent" behind the potential hiring of Izzo whom he holds in high esteem.
Izzo is considering Cleveland's head coaching offer. Izzo is still trying to reach James by phone to get a sense of where he stands on his upcoming free agency.
Dan Gilbert said last week that James is not involved in the search for a replacement for Mike Brown.
