Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy pulled himself from the team's loss to the Hornets in the third quarter on Saturday night with a left knee injury.

The knee has been bothering Roy all season and the team announced last week that he wouldn't need surgery. Roy revealed that he has no cartilage left in either knee.

Portland general manager Rich Cho says the team is going to take a wait-and-see approach, but Roy plans to accompany his teammates to Memphis for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.

"We will see how he feels over the next couple of days and re-evaluate," Cho said.

The Blazers have drained his left knee twice this season, but Roy said the pain he felt on Saturday night was the worst it has been.
