LeBron James injured his left ankle during the fourth quarter of Miami's 111-105 loss at the Clippers on Wednesday.

James ended up several feet behind the basket after spraining his ankle on the drive, but ended up back on the court for the possession and hit a corner three-pointer.

The Clippers subsequently called timeout and James remained in the game.

James had X-rays following the game, which were negative.

"The doctor told me it's day-to-day so I'll see how I feel tomorrow," said James to the media following the game.

The Heat play at Denver on Thursday in the second game of a road back-to-back.
