Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni doesn't think the career of Chauncey Billups is close to over.
Billups, 34, has a $14 million team option on his contract for the 2011-12 season.
Marc Berman of The New York Post tweeted D'Antoni's comments. New York's coach hinted that Billups can play until close to 40 as Jason Kidd has.
The Knicks acquired Billups from the Nuggets in the Carmelo Anthony trade last week.
