The NBPA responded defiantly to the NBA's ultimatum to accept their offer by Wednesday, or face a situation where the owners begin going in the opposite direction.

"The big story here is they want it all," said union attorney Jeffrey Kessler. "They want the system for taxpayers will never be in marketplace.

"They came here with a prearranged plan to strong arm the players."

The NBPA appeared to not allow themselves any wiggle room to put the NBA's offer to a vote.

"There is not a deal to present that we can take a vote on," said Fisher.
