Knicks owner James Dolan has not reached out to Phil Jackson to gauge his interest in returning to the franchise he won two NBA titles with, Jackson’s longtime girlfriend, Lakers executive Jeanie Buss, confirmed.
Jackson, who won an NBA record 11 championships as head coach of the Bulls and Lakers, recently underwent knee replacement surgery.
Buss refused to speculate on Jackson's future.
“He’s walking better than he has in years and has his energy back and I have no idea if he even wants to coach again,’’ Jeanie said.
