Diamond Stone, a 6-foot-10 center who is rated as a top-5 player in the 2015 class, will make an unofficial visit to Michigan this weekend, according to AAU coach DeShawn Curtis.

"His father (Robert Stone) is from Flint," Curtis said. "So, obviously there's some ties there. Honestly, he's kind of wide open as far as what he's looking at. He likes what they're trying to do there at Michigan, trying to build the program back up.

"Obviously they had a great season last year, and he likes what they're doing there right now and wants to check it out."

Stone averaged 13.5 points and 7.8 rebounds as a freshman at Dominican High School in Wisconsin.
