Pau Gasol Could Join Spurs If Durant Signs Elsewhere

If Kevin Durant does not sign with the San Antonio Spurs, there's an increased probability Pau Gasol ends up with signing there.

Gasol is considering offers from a number of teams including the Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors. Gasol has received two-year offers for as much as $40 million, according to reports.

The Spurs have been holding off on their normal free agency plans until Durant makes his decision.

San Antonio has a need in the frontcourt even if Tim Duncan decides not to retire.
