The Cleveland Cavaliers have hired Andrae Patterson as their director of basketball administration.
Patterson worked as a personnel/player programs coordinator for the Utah Jazz since 2015. Patterson will work on player development programs and also scout domestically and overseas.
Patterson played parts of two seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1998-2000, and also spent nine seasons with numerous European teams.
Koby Altman was promoted to general manager this offseason following the departure of David Griffin.
