The Atlanta Hawks and Lloyd Pierce have agreed upon a four-year deal for him to become head coach.
The Hawks will have a team option for the fourth year.
The Hawks parted ways with Mike Budenholzer earlier this offseason.
Pierce has been an assistant for 11 years with Cleveland, Golden State, Memphis and Philadelphia.
