LeBron James has agreed to sign a four-year, $154 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The decision was announced in a simple press release from Klutch Sports.

James' camp also met with the Philadelphia 76ers and was in touch with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Lakers will become James' third NBA team.

Shams Charania reports James will have a player option in Year 4, which will be the 2021 offseason when he is 37 years old.

"I LOVE IT,” wrote Kobe Bryant in a text to Ramona Shelburne in response to James' decision.

Dave McMenamin reports there will be no press conference or welcome party for James with the Lakers. James' first public appearance will be the opening of his I Promise School in Akron on July 30th.
