Stephen Curry will miss a few days with a groin strain, but his MRI was encouraging.

"The MRI looked good in terms of not being too serious," Steve Kerr said. "But he's not going to play [Saturday]. It's kind of something we're going to evaluate over the next few days. He's still sore, and it's a strained groin, basically, is the injury. But the MRI was encouraging, so it will be kind of a day-to-day thing. Obviously he won't do anything crazy. He's going to be out until he's healthy and good to go."

The Warriors were breathing a collective sigh of relief Friday knowing that the injury could have been worse.

Quinn Cook will start for the Warriors in place of Curry.
