The Cleveland Cavaliers have hired Daniel Arsham as the team's first-ever creative director.

Arsham’s career includes solo museum shows, brand collaborations with Porsche and Dior, artistic collaborations with Merce Cunningham and Pharrell and a multidisciplinary design practice called Snarkitecture, which produces furniture and large-scale experiential installations. Arsham grew up largely in Miami and now lives in Brooklyn, but his family has roots in Ohio.

Arsham will oversee the team's brand identity across all mediums.

Arsham will design on-court apparel, including player jerseys, and the court itself, as well as adjacent areas.
