Lonzo Ball says he stays away from the distractions of trade rumors after scoring a season-high 27 points in the New Orleans Pelicans' 131-126 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Ball also hit a career-high seven 3-pointers in the game.

"I just stay the course. I've been playing basketball for a long time. I put a lot of work in and just try to play my game. That's how I play. I just try to stay away from all the noise and just go out there and try to help my team win games," said Ball.

Eric Bledsoe also hit seven 3s in the game. Ball and Bledsoe came the fifth starting backcourt in NBA history to hit at least seven 3-pointers in the same game.

Steve Adams noted Ball's aggressiveness to get to the paint.

"Our guys were doing a good job of taking angles that made it so the defense had to rotate and then we were finding the open guy from there."
