Gary Payton II is looking to make his Portland Trail Blazers debut next week, sources told Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.
The Blazers originally thought Payton would return a month earlier, though the guard took the extra time to recover physically and mentally from offseason surgery.
In other injury news, Justise Winslow will undergo an MRI on his left ankle.
