Suns guard Raja Bell, who will probably need stitches as a result of a Manu Ginobili elbow in Game 3's second half, said the Suns need to "toughen up."

Asked if that's a difficult task, he chuckled and said, "You're talking to the wrong dude. I don't know how to tell you any other way than that."

When Suns' coach Mike D'Antoni was asked if this series would be classified as physical, he responded "Well, half of it (is). Their half. Now we have to get our half."

In other words: The Suns need to match San Antonio's toughness.

But it's not that simple, Bell said. The Suns can't just go out and start throwing elbows.

"Look, you get caught up in that with the Spurs and you will lose," he said. "They're good at it. As much as everyone would like to spin it and have us out there fighting (Monday night), you can't do that. I hope guys understand that's not the answer."
