Wizards rookie guard John Wall was walking around on crutches Monday, making it likely that he'll miss his first game when Washington faces Toronto on Tuesday night.

Wall sprained his left foot against Chicago over the weekend.

If Wall is unable to play, Gilbert Arenas will start in his place.

Wizards coach Flip Saunders said Monday that Wall was day-to-day and that he'd start if available.

Wall, the first overall pick in this past June's NBA Draft, is averaging 18.1 points, 9.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds.
