Brandon Bass may be out until the All-Star break, according to Magic coach Stan Van Gundy.

Orlando won't have Bass on Thursday night against Miami because of sprained left ankle.

"Bass will be out for quite a while, at least all of this week," Van Gundy said.

"You're not going to see him in the Miami, Washington or Boston games, and I don't think you'll see him in the Clipper or Philadelphia game next week either. So, I think you're looking at a minimum probably of five games with him, and quite possibly, you won't see him again until after the all-star break. He got a good sprain and had a significant amount of swelling."

Bass injured his ankle Monday night when he came down awkwardly on Zach Randolph's foot.
