Moe Wagner and the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a two-year, $19 million deal. The deal contains a clause where either side can opt-in to the second season of the contract.
Wagner appeared in 36 games last season with the Orlando Magic returning from a torn ACL and averaged 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 11.9 minutes.
Wagner will be playing in his age-29 season.
Jonathan Isaac and the Orlando Magic have agreed to a one-year deal. The Magic waived Isaac before the start of free agency and he still receive the $8 million he was guaranteed.
Isaac never fully recovered from a series of injuries that kept him to playing just 45 games over four seasons from 2019-20 through 2022-23. This past season, the defensive-minded big man averaged 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10 minutes per game over 52 appearances.
The Magic also signed Nikola Vucevic on the first full day of free agency.
Isaac has been with the Magic since he was the sixth overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.
Jevon Carter and the Orlando Magic have agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million deal.
Carter finished the 2025-26 season with the Magic following his release by the Chicago Bulls in February.
Across 30 games with the Magic, Carter averaged 7.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 20.4 minutes.
Nikola Vucevic and the Orlando Magic have agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million deal.
Vucevic was traded by the Philadelphia 76ers to the Magic in 2012 as part of the Dwight Howard trade and stayed there until his trade to the Chicago Bulls in 2021.
Vucevic finished last season with the Boston Celtics.
The Orlando Magic are expected to re-sign forward Jonathan Isaac. Orlando recently waived Isaac and ate the $8 million guaranteed portion of his contract. The veteran forward cleared waivers on Monday and is an unrestricted free agent.
Because the Magic elected to not waive-and-stretch Isaac, they are able to re-sign him now. Had Orlando waived-and-stretched Isaac, they would have been prevented from re-signing him until the original terms of his contract expired.
Part of the reason the Magic could be looking to bring back Isaac is that the team is expecting to lose big man Moe Wagner in free agency. Wagner is an unrestricted free agent and is likely to draw offers bigger than what Orlando can give him, while managing to stay under the tax aprons.
John Collins is expected to receive free agent interest from the Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers. The Minnesota Timberwolves have also been linked with Collins, but they are not expected to be able to compete with the other teams financially on Collins.
The Sixers and Spurs have frequently been linked with the best forwards in free agency.
Collins appeared in 69 games last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 27.1 minutes.
Colilns is coming off the final season of his five-year, $125 million contract originally signed with the Atlanta Hawks. Collins spent two seasons of the contract with the Hawks before his trade to the Utah Jazz where he also spent two seasons.
Collins made $26.58 million last season on his player option.
Collins is represented by Sean Kennedy and Jeff Schwartz.
The Boston Celtics tried to trade Jaylen Brown as part of a package for Giannis Antetokounmpo earlier this offseason. With Antetokounmpo having been traded to the Miami Heat, several other rival teams have emerged as suitors for Brown.
The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Denver Nuggets, LA Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors have all expressed interest in trading for the Celtics star.
Charlotte's interest has backed off some. While Atlanta may be reluctant to make an all-in sort of offer for Brown.
The Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans and Orlando Magic have also been linked to Boston's All-NBA wing in the past. However, none of those three teams seem to be seriously pursuing a trade for Brown at this time.
Brown is eligible for a two-year, $141.8 million contract extension in July.
Brown finished the 2024-25 season playing through a partially torn right meniscus that required offseason surgery that offseason. Brown recovered to have the best individual season of his career in 2025-26 as he averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

Orlando Magic president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman wasn't going to directly address rumors that his team is a "dark horse" to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo. But Weltman was willing to say that he sees it as a good thing that his team is in rumors linked to such a good player.
"I take it as a compliment that we have a lot of players that the league is interested in and that we could even be thrown into that conversation speaks to the talent on this roster. So, that’s my big takeaway from that," Weltman said after relaying he's not allowed to talk about another team's players directly.
While speaking at new head coach Sean Sweeney's introductory press conference, Weltman recognized that Orlando has a lot of work to do to improve their roster.
"We’re doing all the work that we need to (do) to try to puzzle the roster out," Weltman said. "I do think there’s some kind of basic holes that we want to punch where we can improve the roster and augment the players that we have."
The Magic are entering the offseason above the first apron and nearing the second apron. Orlando will resolve Jonathan Isaac's standing on the roster before June 28, when Isaac's contract becomes fully guaranteed. Trading or waiving Isaac could give the Magic much-needed wiggle room around the aprons.
The Orlando Magic hired Mfon Udofia and DJ Bakker as assistant coaches on Sean Sweeney's staff on Wednesday.
Udofia was most recently the head coach of the Long Island Nets last season.
Bakker was an assistant for the Hornets and head coach of the Greensboro Swarm.
