Baron Davis will play his first game for the Cavaliers on Friday night against the Knicks.

Davis, traded from the Clippers on Feb. 24, has missed Cleveland's last three games with a sore left knee.

"I'm just trying to build it back up and just trying to finish the season strong with the Cavs," said Davis, who has been bothered by the knee injury all season long.

The veteran is not expected to start against New York.
