Ben Simmons didn't have as strong of a freshman season as some expected, which has called into question whether he will be the top overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Chad Ford reached out to several general managers to see if Simmons has been replaced as the No. 1 player on the board.

"Too early to tell," said one GM.

"Hung jury inside our group," said another GM.

There were a few GMs who were adamant Simmons was the only player in this draft worthy of the top pick.

"Sure, I've been disappointed," one said. "We have some concerns about him. But if it's not Simmons, who is it? I don't feel like there's a strong No. 2 option in this draft. There's no obvious guy that is clearly ahead of him."
