Tony Parker expects to return from his left quadriceps injury around the first of the year.
Parker suffered the injury in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
"It's OK. It's OK," said Parker. "It's getting better and better. I'm starting to run like a little bit. I'm walking pretty well. I think it's still going to be a long process. It's still going to take like another four or five months but I am very happy in with the progress. I am in advancing in my rehab."
The San Antonio Spurs re-signed Patty Mills in the offseason, who will begin the season as their starting point guard.
