The Cleveland Cavaliers attempted to deflect any questions about the hip of Isaiah Thomas during a press conference.

Koby Altman confirmed that the treatment plan of Thomas does not include surgery. Altman does expect Thomas to return "at some point" this season before he becomes a free agent in 2018.

“Our responsibility is to get him back to 100% and that’s our goal,” Altman said. “Our performance team has mapped out a great plan, a multi-faceted plan to really attack this thing, and Isaiah is deeply committed to that.”

Thomas suffered a torn labrum in his hip last season.
