Michael Porter Jr. was expected to be one of the top selections in the 2018 NBA Draft until he injured his back early in his freshman season at Missouri.

Porter remains confident in his ability to become a transcendent NBA player.

"I played against all these guys, they're all great players, but I'm the best player in this draft," said Porter. "And I just can't wait to show what I'm capable of."

Porter doesn't seem to mind, however, when he is drafted.

"At the end of the day, for me, it’s like getting in the right situation. I don’t need to go No. 1. I don’t have an ego that makes me want to go No. 1."
