Joel Embiid is officially listed as doubtful for game 1 against the Brooklyn Nets with soreness in his left knee.
Embiid admitted that his availability depends on how much pain he feels in his knee.
"I have no idea. It's about the pain in my knee. I've just got to keep working through it, and see how I feel every day," said Embiid.
Embiid added that it will be his decision whether he plays or sits.
"It's my decision because I'm the one feeling the pain and it's my body. [The team is] going to do whatever they can as far as getting me ready and healthy, but if my body doesn't respond based on the pain level, there's really nothing you can do."
