The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to hire Swin Cash vice president of basketball operations and team development.
Cash will scout, help guide player development on and off the floor while also assuming other roles within the organization.
Cash played 15 seasons in the WNBA and made four All-Star teams. She was a member of the 2000 and 2002 national championship teams at UConn, and she won three WNBA titles. Cash was hired by the New York Liberty in 2017 as director of franchise development.
