James Dolan may replicate the Los Angeles Lakers' and Golden State Warriors' front office model by hiring a player agent to take over as president of the New York Knicks, according to Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Warriors' Bob Myers represented the likes of Brandon Roy, while the Lakers' Rob Pelinka was Kobe Bryant's agent.

The Knicks fired Steve Mills earlier on Monday.

Dolan is also rumored to be targeting Masai Ujiri for the front office role.
