North Carolina plays at one of the fastest paces in the nation, averaging 74 possessions per 40 minutes this season.

Two-thirds of Kendall Marshall's 30 possessions on the break have resulted in an assist (43 points). Marshall's ability to run the break led LeBron James to offer a comparison to Jason Kidd.

But Marshall has struggled this season defensively due to his lack of lateral quickness. He's allowed his opponents to score 1.04 points per possession when guarding the ball.
