Chris Wright was assigned to the Dakota Wizards of the NBA Development League, the Warriors announced Thursday.

Wright, 23, has appeared in five games this season, averaging one point in 3.2 minutes a contest.  He was originally signed as a free agent on Dec. 12.

The Dakota Wizards announced that they have claimed guard Stefhon Hannah (6-1, 175, Missouri) from the available player pool and re-acquired forward Taylor Griffin.

To make room on the roster the Wizards waived forwards Joe Harden and Patrick Sanders.

The Dakota Wizard announced that they have claimed forward Patrick Sanders (6-6, 205, UC-Irvine) from the available player pool. To make room on the roster for Sanders, the Wizards waived Taylor Griffin due to injury. 

Sanders, the sixteenth-ranked scorer in UC-Irvine history, went to training camp with the Los Angeles D-Fenders during the 2008-2009 NBA Development League season. He would be traded during training camp to the Iowa Energy were he would average 13.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists, while shooting 41.7 percent from the 3 point line in 41 games (36 starts) during his rookie season. Sanders recently played for the Sydney Kings in the Australian-NBL where he averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21 games.

Taylor Griffin will be added to the roster of the Dakota Wizards for Tuesday's game in the D-League Showcase.

Griffin played for the Iowa Energy during the 09-10 season while a member of the Suns.

Anthony Goods has left the Dakota Wizards to sign with Banca Tercas Teramo of Italy.

Goods had been averaging 17.1 points per game in the D-League.
