The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent center Keith Benson to a 10-day contract.

Benson, 23, is being called-up from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League, where he has appeared in 20 games this season, averaging 15.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.50 blocks in 30.6 minutes per contest.

Brian Butch and Marqus Blakely were today named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played March 12-18. The honor is the first for both players this season.

Butch averaged 19.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 28.0 minutes in two Jam wins over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers last week, including back-to-back double-doubles.

Blakely averaged 21.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 33.0 minutes in three Sioux Falls victories last week.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce has acquired forward Curtis Withers from the available player pool. He is expected to join the team on Monday. 

Withers holds NBA Development League career averages of 10.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 82 games (44 starts) with the Dakota Wizards. He averaged 8.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 32 games (15 starts) for Dakota this season before being waived on March 13.
