Jay-Z has signed Skylar Diggins to his Roc Nation Sports agency.

Diggins played collegiately at Notre Dame and was drafted by the Tulsa Shock of the WNBA.

Georgetown's Otto Porter has been named the 2013 Big East Player of the Year. Porter is the first player from the Hoyas to win the Big East's top honor since Jeff Green in 2007.

Joining Porter on the All-Big East First Team are Notre Dame's Jack Cooley, Bryce Cotton of Providence, Louisville's Gorgui Dieng and Russ Smith, and UConn's Shabazz Napier.

Dieng was also named Defensive Player of the Year, while St. John's Jakarr Sampson was named Rookie of the Year.

The thirty candidates for Naismith Men's College Player of the Year were announced on Tuesday.

Austin Torres, a 6-foot-7 forward from Mishawaka, Ind., committed to Notre Dame.

Torres joins AAU teammate Demetrius Jackson in the Irish's 2013 recruiting class.

Torres committed to Central Michigan in late September.

Demetrius Jackson committed to Notre Dame over Illinois.

"It was difficult, just trying to distinguish the difference between the programs," Jackson said.

"They both have great opportunities for me, great things to offer. But I feel like Notre Dame had the best of both worlds."

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Jackson, a top-30 player in the class of 2013, announced his decision on ESPNU.

Demetrius Jackson will announce his college decision between Illinois and Notre Dame on Thursday.

Jackson, a top-20 player in the 2013 class, made an official visit to Notre Dame last weekend and previously visited Illinois in early September.

Jackson’s decision will be televised on ESPNU.

Notre Dame will join the ACC as a full member with the exception of football and hockey.

Notre Dame's exit from the Big East requires 27 months notice, but the school could negotiate an earlier exit.

Notre Dame joined the Big East in 1995.

Notre Dame will play five football games annually against ACC schools.
