NBA veteran forward Jae Crowder is returning to the court in Puerto Rico. Crowder has signed with Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rico. The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, Puerto Rico's top basketball league, is tipping off their season soon.
Crowder has been an NBA free agent all season. He finished last season as a member of the Sacramento Kings, after signing with them in late-November of 2024.
The NBA veteran will be joined on the Vaqueros by Xavier Cooks and Jaylin Galloway. Both Cooks and Galloway will join the team after their season with the Sydney Kings in Australia's NBL ends. The NBL is currently holding their championship series.
Like Crowder, Cooks and Galloway have NBA experience as well. Cooks spent part of the 2022-23 season with the Washington Wizards. Galloway finished the 2023-24 season on a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.
