Despite the Rockets' objections to the choice of Hunt Construction Group to lead the building of the Rockets' new playpen, the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority is moving forward with contract negotiations with that company, reports Steve Brewer of the Houston Chronicle.  The two sides will go into mediation soon to resolve the conflict, but not before a June 28 meeting of the Sports Authority's board.  The Rockets insist on going with the lowest bidder, Clark Contractors, but the Sports Authority says the city -- not their tenants -- should have the say in the arena's construction.
