The Sonics are like lilliputians among giants. They're not expecting to re-sign starters Patrick Ewing and Jelani McCoy. In fact, they didn't even make a qualifying offer to McCoy, who started much of last season. They're left with a gaping hole in the middle. Number 12 pick Vladimir Radmanovic can play part-time at the four (he's more a three), and Vin Baker probably will return with his finesse game. That means the Sonics will use the $5.5M or $6M in cap space they've got looking for a center. Likely possibilities are Marc Jackson, former Husky Todd MacCulloch and Nazr Mohammed.
